Here you will find the machines located in the lab and what course is required in order to use and book a machine.
The courses exists to ensure that no damage to you or the machines are made
Band saw

The bandsaw can be used for cutting aluminium. At the moment it cannot be used for anything else.
Battery spot welder

The resistance spot welder CD 200 with pneumatic head from Sunstone makes it possible to weld custom battery packs with e.g. Li-on batteyr cells.
CNC

The Isel ICP 4030 CNC can mill plastic, foam, wood and small non ferrous materials. Working area is 400x300x150.
Drill press

The Arboga drill press is perfect for drilling and tapping holes. Has a feeding table for precise work.
Laser engraver

Laser engraver
The Epilog 60 W laser engraver can cut and engrave plastic and wood. Perfect for making panels, enclosures or art.
SLS 3D Printer

The SLS 3D printer "Lisa" from Sinterit can print even more complex and durable parts by sintering nylon powder, layer by layer. Used as a final step in 3D prototyping.
Ultimaker 3 Extended

CASE LAB has 7 Ultimaker 3 extended and one Ultimaker 3. These can print with two filament separate filament with it's swappable dual core nozzles.
Ultimaker S5
Course requirement

The Ultimaker S5 has same features as the Ultimaker 3 but with a bigger build volume, filament detection and a touch display.
Vacuum Former

The Formech 508F is made for creating panels, enclosures or protective covers fast by heating a plastic sheet and then forming it over a mold.
