In order to use the more advanced tools and machines you need to complete a small course for the machine in question. You will learn how to set up and operate them, as well as what to consider when planning a job or creating a design. Once you have completed a course you will be able to book the resource through Booked.

ECAD and PCB course

During the course, you will learn KiCAD to design circuit boards and how you can place orders via CASE. This course usually runs about 4 times a year - keep an eye on Canvas for signups.

3D Printing Course

This course will teach you how to use the Prusa MK4S and XL FMD printers. It is mandatory for being allowed to use the printers. It consists of 2 parts: reading the preparation material and doing a quiz on Canvas, followed by a practical session.

The Laser Engraver Course will teach you how to safely operate the laser engraver. It is mandatory for being allowed to use the machine.
