Education

In order to use the more advanced machines and tools you will need to complete a small course for that machine. This is to ensure that no damage to you or the machines. You will learn how to operate the machines and what to think about when designing parts for the machine. Once you have completed a course you will be able to book the machine through our booking software

Vinyl cutter course

During the course, you will learn the basics of the cutting machine. Can be used to make Tshirt prints, stickers, greeting cards and more. This is not a regular scheduled course and not needed to use the machine. Contact the board if interested and we will arrange a course

Soldering course

During the course, you will learn the basics of soldering. This is not a regular scheduled course and not needed to use soldering irons in the lab. Contact the board if interested and we will arrange a course

ECAD and PCB course

During the course, you will learn a software used to CAD circuit boards and how you can order your own circuit boards via CASE. This is not a regular scheduled course. Contact the board if interested and we will arrange a course

3D printing course

This course will teach you how to use all of the FDM printers in the lab. It is mandatory for being able to use the printers. It consists of 3 parts, reading the preparation material, a quiz and a practical session.

Laser engraver course

The Laser Engraver Course will teach you how to safely operate the laser engraver. It is mandatory for being able to use the machine.

Vacuum forming course

The vacuum forming machine is quite simple to use. With this mandatory course you'll be able to vacuum form your own creations.

Workshop course

In the workshop there are machines that require education to use. By completing the workshop course you will be permitted to use the drill press, band saw and belt grinder.
